About Society

Muslim Welfare Society

The Muslim Welfare Society (Reg. No. 12480) is a Non profiling voluntary organisation, doing pioneering work in the field of technical education for the wards of the weaker sections of the society, particularly Muslims and also the backward classes of the other communities. The Society, since its inception realised that the present system of formal education for technical and vocational education does not fulfill the interests of the weaker sections of the society and hence adopted the concept of functional education which means job oriented education.

As a first step of the Society established a technical and vocational training institute in 1983 with job oriented courses namely “M.H.K. INDUSTRIAL TRAINING CENTRE”. The second one in 1998 Namely M.H.K. Vocational Higher Secondary School, to impart Vocational Education. The Society ( Muslim Welfare Society) also Undertakes Village Social Service from time to time Organised camp from Health Awareness and Inspires for Shramdan and other Social & Educational Services.

About the Founder
